I needed a pocket watch to carry in my purse when I'm out shopping or other things. I don't always wear a wrist watch. I decided on this colibri pocket watch because it has a nice design, can be engraved and has a place for a picture, "which I will use to put a piece of victorian paper in to give it a female touch." It can be personalized for a man or ladies. It keeps great time, it's big enough, but not to big to carry in your purse, and easy to see the dial, looks better in person. It also has a chain to hook to my purse so it won't get lost. I just pull the chain to pull the watch out, and never have to worry about it getting lost in all of my junk. Great watch, I love it.
